As a specialist GP, Dr Carrie Kausman is at the forefront of infant, paediatric and maternal health and has been a trusted clinician for children and their families for more than 20 years.  Her skillset extends from young babies through to teenagers, and she brings compassion and clarity to the support she provides young people and their families.

She cares deeply for her patients and understands each child is different and every family has its own story. She works collaboratively with the entire Paediatric People team to offer children the very best care in a safe, nurturing environment.

For more than a decade Dr Carrie has also worked at the Early Parenting Centre at Masada Hospital. She is acutely aware of the pressures of parenting a newborn and the anxiety parents feel when their children are not at their best. She is committed to supporting children and their families to flourish.

She graduated from Monash University in 1997 and obtained her Fellowship with the Royal College of General Practitioners (RACGP) in 2004. She holds a Diploma of Obstetrics and is a current examiner for the RACGP Fellowship examinations.
