Dr Daniel Engelman

Dr Daniel Engelman completed his paediatric training in Melbourne, Darwin and internationally and has worked as a consultant paediatrician at the Royal Children’s Hospital for more than 10 years.
He has extensive experience across a wide range of conditions and has particular interest in: infectious diseases, complex medical conditions and syndromes, eczema, asthma, food allergies, constipation, incontinence, growth issues, autism and ADHD.
Dr Daniel is also a clinical scientist with further qualifications in public health and tropical medicine and is a Team Leader at Murdoch Children’s Research Institute. He has held international leadership positions and is an advisor to the World Health Organisation.
He is a gentle and compassionate clinician who works closely with allied health and educational professionals.
He enjoys time in nature, mindfulness, music and the arts and is a father of two adolescents who help him learn more about paediatrics everyday.
