Dr Sylvie Picker is enthusiastic to work with families to get the best outcome for their child. She provides holistic care and believes all infants, children and young people deserve a nurturing start to life.
She is a member of the Royal Australian College of Physicians (FRACP) and holds dual specialist qualifications in Australia and Germany. She graduated with honours from the Charite University Berlin and then completed her paediatric training at Charite University Hospital in Berlin, Sandringham Hospital and the Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne.
She has completed additional fellowships in Developmental and Behavioural Paediatrics at the Centre for Community Child Health at the Royal Children’s Hospital.
Dr Sylvie is at the forefront of paediatric medicine and has published several research articles on neurodevelopmental conditions in children.
She enjoys working with families from diverse background and is also fluent in German and Vietnamese.
Aa a mother of a young child she appreciates the roller coaster of parenthood and enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and friends.
