How it works

  • Please fill out our Enquiry Form

We will then email you a secure Patient Registration Form where you can tell us about your baby and your concerns.

The Paediatric People team will carefully review your baby’s information.

Remember you don’t have to wait until it’s “bad enough”, if something just doesn’t feel right we are here to help.

If you are worried about your baby, please call us on (03) 9088 3011 to alert staff to your enquiry.

Please note: We are not an acute care service if your baby is acutely unwell you must seek immediate care by visiting your local ED, calling 000 or contacting Nurse on Call.

  • We make sure babies are seen quickly and comprehensively.

The Baby Clinic team will promptly meet and allocate your baby an appointment with the specialist they need.

Paediatric People will make sure your baby sees the right clinician at the right time.

We will contact you to book them in.

  • For your first visit your baby may see a neonatologist, a paediatric physio, a specialist GP or our experienced nurse – or the whole team.

Our team has unmatched breadth and depth in the expertise we bring to infant care.

Rest assured, we collaborate and work together.

If needed we can draw on each other’s experience through case discussions, joint appointments and patient review meetings.

So, while your baby might only meet one of us, you are seeing a specialist who is backed by a team of experts.

This is the Paediatric People difference.

  • Whatever your baby needs, the entire Baby Clinic team will work together to provide the best possible treatment and continuous care.

Many of us at Paediatric People are parents too and we know most babies, including our own, will need support at some point in the vital first years of life.

Baby Clinic is always here to help.
